Collecting Cancer Data:
Colon/Rectum/Appendix
11/5/09
This 3-hour class will present the following information for colon, rectum, and appendix: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Collecting Cancer Data:
Lung
12/3/09
This 3-hour class will present the following information for lung: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Head and Neck

**Change Management in the Cancer Registry
1/7/10
This 3-hour class will present participants with ways to deal with large and small changes that regularly occur in cancer registration and surveillance. It will provide ways for all concerned to ‘buy in’ to change. It will also present ways to do more with less in this time of budget reductions.
Lymphoma/Hematopoietics
1/7/10
Collecting Cancer Data:
Soft Tissue Sarcoma and Gastrointestinal Stromal Sarcoma (GIST)
2/4/10
This 3-hour class will present the following information for soft tissue sarcoma and GIST: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Collecting Cancer Data:
Kidney
3/4/10
This 3-hour class will present the following information for kidney: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Gyn
3/4/10
Advanced Abstracting of Site Specific Factors
3/18/10
Collecting Cancer Data:
Skin Malignancies
4/1/10
This 3-hour class will present the following information for melanoma and merkel cell carcinoma of the skin: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Collecting Cancer Data:
Esophagus and Stomach
6/3/10
This 3-hour class will present the following information for malignancies of the esophagus and stomach: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Collecting Cancer Data:
Lip and Oral Cavity
8/5/10
This 3-hour class will present the following information for malignancies of the lip and oral cavity: anatomical information needed to abstract and code the cases; how to determine the number of primary tumors; how to code topography and histology; how to code the CSv2 data items; and the treatments and how to code them.
Coding Pitfalls
9/2/10
This 3-hour class will address coding dilemmas identified through quality control of registry data and present solutions with rationale for determining the number of primary tumors using the 2007 MP/H rules, assigning ICD-O-3 topography and histology codes using the ICD-O-3 Manual, completing the appropriate data items using CSv2, and completing treatment data items as required by all standard setters.
